The idea behind the 'space' began with something simple — the dream of a little boy who had always imagined having a space where his own exhibition could one day take place.

From the beginning, FSTOP8 'Space' was never intended to become an overly commercial gallery defined by complicated rules and restrictions. Instead, it was created as a warm, open and experimental shared art space — informal in character, yet complete enough to support ideas in many different forms.

A photography exhibition, an intimate film screening, a conversation about cinema, a workshop, an evening of music, a gathering between friends, or even an idea that has not yet been fully defined — all can find their place within FSTOP8 'Space'.

 

The space is equipped with exhibition lighting, projection and sound systems, together with an informal but fully functional self-service Coffee & Snack Bar. A large 4 × 2.9 m carpeted lounge area provides a relaxed communal setting and can accommodate approximately 10 people seated together.

At its heart, FSTOP8 'Space' is built around a shared passion for art, photography, film, music and community. It is designed to remain open, inclusive and flexible — a space where creative ideas can be explored with fewer boundaries and where different communities can come together naturally.
