Service Description
Learn how to develop and scan your own black & white film in this hands-on 2-hour workshop at FSTOP8 FILMLAB. Bring one roll of B&W film that you’ve already shot, and we’ll guide you through the complete process — from understanding the fundamentals of black & white film development to developing and digitally scanning your own negatives. What you’ll learn: • Fundamentals of B&W film development • Hands-on film developing • Introduction to traditional darkroom printing • Film scanning theory and workflow • Hands-on digital scanning • Digital scans of your own film included What to bring: One exposed roll of B&W film. Optional Darkroom Experience — $45 extra Interested in traditional darkroom printing? Stay back after the workshop and make your own 4×6" B&W silver gelatin print from one of your negatives. We’ll guide you through the enlarging, exposure and developing process, and you’ll take home your finished print. Every Sunday at 1:30 PM Duration: Approx. 2 hours Price: $99 per person (B&W Film Developing and Scan Only) Maximum: 4 participants per session Small groups mean more hands-on time and individual guidance. No previous film developing experience is required.

Cancellation Policy
### Booking & Attendance Each Workshop is limited to **4 participants** and must be booked in advance. Please arrive **15 minutes before the start time**. Late arrival may reduce your hands-on time as the Workshop follows a scheduled program. ### Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least **48 hours before** the Workshop. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a **full refund or one free reschedule**. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, or late arrivals that prevent participation are **non-refundable**. ### What to Bring Please bring **one exposed roll of B&W film**. You will develop and scan your own film during the Workshop. No film ready? Add a **B&W Disposable Camera (+$40)** when booking. The camera must be collected, fully shot before the Workshop, and brought back on the day. ### Optional Darkroom Printing Add the **4×6" B&W Darkroom Printing Experience (+$45)** when booking if you would like to try traditional silver gelatin printing. This takes place after the main Workshop and requires approximately **1 additional hour**. You will select one of your negatives and make one 4×6" print with staff guidance. ### Film Developing & Results Film developing is performed by participants under the guidance of FSTOP8 FILMLAB staff. While instructions and assistance are provided, results may be affected by exposure, film condition, expiry, storage, previous handling, or participant handling. FSTOP8 FILMLAB **cannot guarantee image results** and is not responsible for missing, damaged, abnormal or unsatisfactory images resulting from factors outside our control. ### Safety Participants must follow staff instructions when using chemicals, darkroom equipment, scanners and other Lab equipment. Please do not use equipment or chemicals without staff permission. **By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this Workshop Policy.**
