Cancellation Policy

1. Service Description We provide professional film developing and scanning services, including: * C-41 color negative film processing * Black and white film processing * E-6 slide film processing * ECN-2 motion picture film processing * Medium-resolution and high-resolution scans * Contactless drop-off and pick-up service All services include basic cleaning and digital delivery via online link. Optional prints and archival-grade darkroom prints are available upon request. 2. Delivery Method You can deliver your films to us via: * In-person drop-off at our store or secure dropbox (available 24/7 at our entrance) For return options: * Pick-up in store 3. Turnaround Time Standard turnaround times (excluding public holidays and peak seasons) are: * C-41: 1 business day * B\&W, E-6, ECN-2: 3–5 business days Urgent services may be available at extra charge. You will be notified once your scans are ready or prints available for pick-up. 4. Quality and Risk Disclaimer We handle all film with utmost care using calibrated, professional equipment. However: * Due to the fragile and unpredictable nature of film, especially expired or improperly stored film, we cannot guarantee results. * We are not responsible for film damaged due to manufacturer defects, customer mishandling, or courier issues. * All processing is done at the customer's own risk. If a mistake occurs on our part, we offer a free re-scan (where possible) or processing credit. 5. Film Storage and Pick-up * Completed negatives will be held for **60 days** from the day you’re notified. * After 60 days, unclaimed films may be **disposed of or recycled** to free up space. * Please label your rolls clearly and keep your receipt or tracking info when dropping off films. 6. Refund Policy * If the film has quality issues due to improper storage, exposure, or handling by the customer, FSTOP8 FILMLAB will not be responsible for any loss or compensation. * If the processing issue is clearly caused by our lab (e.g., chemical mishandling, incorrect temperature, misprocessing), we will offer a full refund and provide one additional roll of film processing of the same type free of charge. Please note: This policy only applies to non-expired film. For expired film, we do not offer any guarantees or compensation under any circumstances, regardless of the processing result.
